Some legal issues for blog authors and commentators
A blogger can seriously infringe or violate the rights of others by publishing texts, images or videos and other media on the web. We will try to answer certain legal issues connected with writing and commenting on blogs on the fringes of the law as far as responsibility of authors is concerned.
This is seen primarily in forms of slander, misuse of a person’s good name, standing and personal data, violation of intellectual property rights and the like. Bloggers often believe that they can post any idea and are completely untouchable, especially if they write anonymously or under a pseudonym.
