Our international bloggers’ congress will take place on the 9th of June, 2007 at Cankarjev dom, Ljubljana.
We got the idea for the congress because we want to:
• Encourage discussion on important themes being opened up online by the public, especially by the blogosphere,
• Integrate a community of bloggers, who live online but also communicate in person,
• Meet with individuals from different cultures, who can share their experiences with us.
The program is divided into 3 parts:
• Lectures by local and foreign guests, followed by short debates,
• Practical workshops by experts from the fields of design, development and creative blogging,
• An evening of fun and relaxation to conclude a hard day of informal discussions and experiences.
Everybody who writes, reads, researchers or just plain likes blogs is very welcome. Attendance is free of charge for bloggers. All you have to do is enter the name of a blog you have been writing for at least 3 months when you apply.
